Second Sight Films have released the latest in the long line in Limited Edition releases. The latest to get the treatment, Creep, is lauded as one of Empire's 50 best horrors of the 21st Century.
Directed, co-written and starring Patrick Brice the 2014 horror films success later spawned the titular franchise, with a sequel released in 2017, a spin-off series titled The Creep Tapes released on Shudder in 2024, and a potential third film in development.
This Limited Edition release gets the full Second Sight Films treatment, enclosed in a rigid slipcase with stunning new artwork from Luke Headland, that will standout on any collectors shelf. The Blu-ray itself comes loaded with special features that includes a brand new audio commentary with director Patrick Brice, editor Christopher Donlon and Actor Mark Duplass.
Other notable special features include "10 Years of Creep", which is a live Q&A with the cast and crew, an all new deleted scene and an alternative ending. The sheer variety and quality of these special features make this a must purchase for any Creep fan.
Second Sight Films haven't disappointed with a 70-page book with new essays by Sarah Appleton, Kat Ellinger, David Kittredge and Amber T, all of which give unique insights into the film and its impact. To accompany this is six collectors art cards that show some great imagery from the film itself.
Once again Second Sight Films have outdone themselves with this stunning Limited Edition of Creep. With the film now 10 years old, and sparking a sequel and spin-off series, it is certainly deserving of this treatment, and the final product is a must-have for any collector or fan.
