Love it or hate it, the Oscar Nominations dropping means it's officially awards season! Hosted by Allison Williams (M3GAN) and Riz Ahmed (Sound of Metal), the nominations for the 95th annual awards were revealed this afternoon to eagerly awaiting fans. The winners will be announced on March 13th, and the evening of glitz and glamour will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

Leading with 11 nominations in total is the immensely popular Everything Everywhere All at Once, directed by Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan. Boasting hilarious comedy, a heartfelt message and the comeback of Ke Huy Quan, the movie took 2022 by storm and was widely known as the best of the year – in a strange turn of events, the movie community and the Academy agree. Just behind with 9 nominations is The Banshees of Inisherin, Martin McDonagh's latest black comedy. Loved for it's dry, witty dialogue and fantastic performances from all involved, it's bound to take something home this year. Also with 9 nominations, we have WW1 epic All Quiet on the Western Front, a drama that wasn't afraid to show the sad truths of war but blew audiences away whilst doing so. Other popular nominees include Elvis, Tar, The Fabelmans and Top Gun: Maverick.
